City Waste Water Treatment Plant
- Tessa's
subcontract consisted of performing all structural concrete
work on the $27,000,000. Wastewater Treatment Plant project.
- Total
volume of concrete involved was approximately 21,000. c.y.,
including:
- Two
Sequencing Batch Reactors "SBR" (each 9,000. c.y. of concrete).
- Screening Structure.
- Tertiary Filter Building.
- Aluminum Chloride Building.
- "NPW" Building.
- Other
miscellaneous concrete structures.
- The
concrete slabs for the "SBR"s were
placed in three pours of 2,000. c.y. each, and its 30' high
tapered concrete walls were poured without any vertical joints,
using Manto Gang® forms.
